Kentucky Derby 150 Trainers’ Dinner

For the first time, the prestigious Kentucky Thoroughbred Association’s Derby Trainers’ Dinner was held in the First Turn Club at Churchill Dows.

Celebrating the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby, more than 400 attendees enjoyed a night listening to each of the trainers who would saddle a Kentucky Derby contender that weekend.

Once again, Andrew emceed the evening, interviewing each of the trainers and ensuring a relaxed and fun environment for everyone to enjoy.

The NRL Officially Lands in Vegas

Set against the dazzling backdrop of Las Vegas' iconic Strip, Australia’s National Rugby League officially welcomed the media to Sin City just days out from their season-opening double-header at Allegiant Stadium.

Andrew emceed the event, interviewing some of the star NRL players set to take field, along with two formidable fighters from the UFC, which added an extra layer of adrenaline to the mix.

The event attracted media from Australia, New Zealand and across North America, resulting in an explosion of coverage three days before Rugby League launched at Allegiant Stadium for the first time.

NRL Las Vegas Media Launch

Australia’s National Rugby League is coming to Las Vegas!

On the same stage it was announced that the Super Bowl was being held in Vegas, Andrew hosted the exclusive media launch event for the NRL ahead of its inaugural season opener at Allegiant Stadium on March 2, 2024.

Media from Australia and around North America attended along with NRL CEO Andrew Abdo and players from the four teams set to take the field - Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Brisbane Broncos, South Sydney Rabbitohs and Sydney Roosters.

The NRL has ambitious plans to become part of the American sports fabric, and will kick off its season in Sin City for the next 5 years.

Kentucky Derby Trainers’ Dinner

For the second year running, Andrew emcee’d the most prestigious event during Derby Week in Louisville, the 2023 Trainers’ Dinner!

More than 350 guests were in attendance as Andrew interviewed each of the trainers whose horses had made the final field for Kentucky Derby 149. One of the highlights was Japanese trainer Hidetake Otonashi, who had the crowd in stitches after admitting he’d enjoyed a few Kentucky beverages before he got up on stage to talk about his horse, Derma Sotogake. A clip of the interview went viral around the world!

WoTA World Forum in London

More than 200 CEOs and leaders from the biggest totalizators around the world gathered in London for the first WoTA forum. Andrew emcee’d the event and moderated the leader’s panel.

Kentucky Derby Trainers’ Dinner

Outside of the Kentucky Derby itself, the hottest ticket in town during Derby week is to the prestigious Derby Trainers’ dinner.

For Derby 148, more than 300 special guests attended the Speed Art Museum in downtown Louisville for a great night toasting the trainers who got their horse into the final field.
